Dr Mick Dewing (General Practitioner, Male, MBBS, FRACGP) Practice Partner
Dr Dewing has over forty years of experience in rural General Practice with a diverse demographic of patients, including caring for women, newborns, men’s health, chronic disease management, and all aspects of your general health and wellbeing.

Dr Mike Hoar (General Practitioner, Male, MBBS, FRACGP) Practice Partner
Dr Hoar graduated from medical school at UWA and completed his 4-year fellowship in rural General Practice in 2004. He is a GP Anaesthetist including epidural anaesthesia and has a wide range of experience from working at many hospitals and locations around the state.
Dr Sarah Youngson (General Practitioner, Female, FRACGP, MBBS (Hons)
Dr Youngson graduated from UWA in 1997, completing her GP fellowship in 2002 and joined the Bridgetown team in February 2013. Sarah’s special interests are Youth and Mental Health. Please note that due to Dr Youngson’s patient load she is no longer able to accept new patients outside of her areas of interest. Please contact the surgery for appointment times.
Dr Phillip De Ronchi (General Practitioner, Male, MBBS)
Dr De Ronchi has a special interest in psychology and has completed a BA (Hons) in Clinical Psychology. He has a long-standing interest in medicine. Phillip has worked extensively in many Emergency Departments including Fremantle, Armadale and at Peel Health Campus more recently also working on-call at Bridgetown Hospital. He has experience in surgical assisting in obstetrics, gynaecology and urology. His interests include all areas of general practice. He has a keen interest in cosmetic injectable treatments for a wide range of medical and cosmetic conditions. He lives rurally with his young family and enjoys the country life where most weekends he can be found in overalls and gumboots on the tractor or relaxing riding one of his much-loved horses.
Dr Bahareh Varposhti (General Practitioner, Female, MD)
Dr Varposhti graduated from Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Science in Iran in 2016. She immigrated to Australia in June 2022 to join the Bridgetown Medical team. She comes to us with several years of experience as a family physician in Iran. Dr Varposhtis special interests include Women’s Health & Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Sexual Health, Geriatric Medicine, Preventive & Lifestyle Medicine.
Dr Robyn McIntyre (General Practitioner, Female, MBBS)
Dr McIntyre completed her GP Fellowship (RACGP) in 2016. She recently moved to Bridgetown from Esperance where she worked as a GP in both private practice and Headspace. She has specific interest in Youth (age 12 – 25), general Mental health support (all ages), and alcohol and other drugs of dependence (all ages). These areas of health are her primary focus and areas of expertise and interest, and hence she will aim to keep her patients to those who identify with these concerns. Dr Marc Dantoc (Rural Generalist, Male, MBBS (Hons), FACRRM)
Dr. Dantoc is a qualified Rural Generalist (RG) – Surgeon and Endoscopist (CCRTGE – adult endoscopy) attaining his Fellowship with the Australian College of Rural/Remote Medicine (ACRRM) following selection and completion of requisite Advanced Specialist Training (AST) in General Surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), and Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (UK). Dr Dantoc consults at Bridgetown Medical Group and is very happy to see patients for general medical conditions.
Dr Kate Keogh (GP – Trainee ACRRM)
Dr Keogh is a GP Registrar currently training with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM). She completed her medical degree at the UWA and has worked across a variety of clinical areas, including paediatrics, obstetrics, and emergency medicine. Originally from Bridgetown, Dr Keogh is proud to have returned to her hometown to begin her career in general practice. She is passionate about providing community-focused care and supporting health and wellbeing.
Dr Kyryll Chulak (MB BCh BAO CertEM (ACEM))
Dr Chulak is an Irish-trained doctor who has been working in Australia since 2018. He has extensive experience across WA, QLD and NT, as well as multiple hospitals throughout Perth. He has a strong background in emergency medicine, anaesthesia, general medicine, geriatrics and rehabilitation. He brings a practical, patient-centred approach, with particular expertise in managing complex and chronic conditions across all adult age groups. His areas of interest include memory concerns and cognitive health, falls and mobility issues, medicine of older adults, chronic disease management, palliative care, rehabilitation medicine and urgent care.
Nurses
Registered Nurses Tania Evans, Lisa Lambert and Kelly O’Reilly provide a range of services for our practice and assist our busy GPs in their work.
Administration team
Practice Manager, Sharon Gardner, joined the practice in the reception team in 2016 and moved into the Managers role in 2019. Sharon is passionate about Bridgetown Medical providing the highest quality patient experience. Sharon is supported by an experienced medical administration team of Jasmine, Rhona, Norma, Olivia, Madison, Jo & Tess.
