About Us

Bridgetown Medical is an AGPAL accredited general practice and has been servicing the Bridgetown area for over 40 years. We strive to provide a caring and friendly environment where patients can access their family GP. With a broad demographic of patients, from newborns to the young at heart, our GPs are consistently dealing with all aspects of general practice and your daily wellbeing.

Our location is ideal for those who live and work in Bridgetown and the surrounding areas. We are open 6 days a week, 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, and from 9.30am on Saturdays for urgent/emergency consults. Clinipath is open from 8:30-4:00pm Monday to Friday.

Our Fees

We are a private billing practice, a fee is payable on the day to see our doctors. We can help lodge your Medicare rebate for you on the day with a valid Medicare card. Patients under the age of 16 years and Veteran Affairs card holders will still be bulk-billed. Please discuss our fees with a member of staff. Our fees are indicative of the length of consult you have. Medicare rebates can be paid directly to your cheque or savings account on the day. Please note that these fees may vary according to the requirements of your appointment.

Saturday clinic consults will incur a slightly higher fee than our weekday fees. Patients under the age of 16 years and Veteran Affairs gold card holders will still be bulk-billed.

Non attendance

Patients who fail to attend their appointment will be charged a fee of $85. Please advise us at least 4 hours prior if you are unable to attend your appointment.
