Benefits of MyMedicare Registration

• Stronger GP Relationship: Formalising your connection with your GP and practice can lead to better health outcomes and more personalised care. 

• Access to Additional Medicare Benefits: Registered patients may receive longer telehealth consultations and increased Medicare funding for chronic disease management. 

• Priority Access to Services: Some practices offer exclusive perks to registered patients, such as priority booking and extended consultation times. 

• Flexibility and Control: Registration is voluntary, and you can change or withdraw your registration at any time through your Medicare Online Account or by speaking with your GP.

How to register

Registering is simple and can be done in two ways:

1. Online via myGov:

• • Sign in to your myGov account.

  • Navigate to ‘Medicare’.

  • Under ‘Linked services’, select ‘Register for MyMedicare’.

  • Follow the prompts to select your preferred practice and GP.

  • Review and submit your registration.

  2. Speak to us Bridgetown medical

  • Speak with our reception staff during your next visit.

  • We’ll assist you in completing the registration process.
